What an excellent bike shop, real enthusiastic and helpful staff. I bought a giant road bike, I had already decided what I wanted after careful consideration of other models and makes. The staff were really friendly and knowledgable and the customer care was great. The new bike was set up perfectly for me (free of charge) and indeed this saves a lot of aggro with weeks of tweaking and expensive bike fits. Strongly recommend -,please support your local bike shop as bike was same price as online. What I also found really useful is that they have a decent website . Great shop.
I popped in on the off chance, on Saturday morning to enquire about having cleats fitted to my shoes. I had the cleats and after attempting to fit them myself I was left with some spare parts, which it turns out weren’t needed for my shoe type. Expecting to be asked to come back at a later date, the gentleman asked if I had the shoes with me and proceeded to fit them straightaway! He didn’t just screw them in but made a visual assessment of my feet alignment and height and also advised me on the best way to clip the shoes into the pedals. He was very polite and helpful, and the atmosphere in the shop was very welcoming, with great carmaraderie amongst their customers. To top it all he didn’t charge me for the fitting. THANK YOU very much to the member of staff for your time this morning, which I really appreciated. Excellent service all round, and highly recommended.

Ben is the man that can. My bike is slick, creak free and 100% reliable. That the VB attention to detail. If it’s ever gets to the stage that it’s not, this is the only place I will bring it. Bring your bike here
I needed some essential bike parts and found venture bikes by chance, and how lucky was I! The staff are extremely helpful and full of knowledge (which is a rare commodity today!). They turned around my order in no time! Can’t recommend venture bikes highly enough

Super honest service and no over charging so will be my regular stop while in Birmingham! Other LBS could learn from this to retain customers.
Brilliant service, speedy and friendly. Fantastic price too. Will definitely return if needed.

After a lot of research in to our first ebikes, we had more or less settled on EBCO bikes. Hunting around for somewhere to try them, I found Nationwide eBikes sold them and had a shop fairly close to us. Unfortunately they had no EBCOs in the shop, but we visited anyway and were given lots of friendly advice and some test rides on some Freego models. We subsequently found EBCO in another shop where we could test ride and decided we liked them, but the shop could not deliver, and we could not get the bikes home ourselves. In any event, Nationwide were a good deal cheaper than any other retailer online, so I ended up ordering online from them. The bikes were delivered completely assembled and tested, and the service was first class, great communication and fast response to any queries. I don't anticipate buying any more bikes for a good while but I would definitely use Nationwide again.
No e-bike inside. Closed.

I've been visiting Urban Cycles several times and have always been happy with their services. Andi and Rosina are friendly, hard workers and efficients. I just bought a new bike from them yesterday: bike delivery was quick, got a lot of good advices and the bike is fantastic. I can only highly recommend Urban Cycles at the University of Birmingham.
These guys are great bike experts and I have used them more than once and would definitely recommend. Fairly priced and always use good quality stuff. Really friendly aswell :)

Always helpful and friendly staff. Staff seem to really want to give good customer service and are polite. Only downside is getting out of Battery Park when it's busy...nightmare!
Great service and advice for the staff in the cycling department, really helpful and polite.
